Review masterplan Sonadia deep sea port – Bangladesh

With increasing cargo volumes, the need for a deep sea port in Bangladesh is becoming more urgent and therefore the Government of Bangladesh wished to revive the Sonadia Deep Sea Port project. In 2006-2009 a masterplan was developed for this greenfield port. PCR was asked to review the masterplan and draft recommendations on actions to be taken to start the project of Sonadia Deep Sea Port development.

Update port masterplan – Rijeka, Croatia

Recent developments in the Port of Rijeka asked for an update of the masterplan of the port. The throughput increased beyond expectation, while, on the other hand, the pressure of urban development put serious constraints on port operations. The masterplan describes the phased migration of port activities to new locations, the development of new port expansions as well as operational improvements for the existing terminals, enhancing the overall efficiency of the port.
